熊木 清一
Made by cutting sheet metal with a plasma cutter.
The seemingly random sequence of cyanobacteria base sequences (A, T, G, C) published in a scientific journal sparked a sense of unease with symbols (language), and I've been exploring various
possibilities ever since. I'm creating this work while keeping in mind the idea that "linguistic expression is a metaphor."
Born in Hyogo, Japan.
Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Osaka Kyoiku University.
Former member of the Kokugakai (National Painting Association).
Kokuten Exhibition: "Nojima Prize," "Kokuga Prize," "80th Anniversary Prize," etc.
